My interest in audiobook narration blossoms from a desire to be a better writer. An Indie author of Book One of The Whirlwomen Urban Fantasy, Flung, I bring to every project a commitment to deliver sparkling, engaging audio to each author’s “baby”—I know the vision, discipline and time it takes to conceive a good book. My background is in print and broadcast journalism, but I’ve also worked in the non-profit realm and travel industry. I performed for several years with Improv groups in Culver City, CA, and Atlanta, GA.
In 2021, I was a mentee in the Audio Publisher Association's inaugural mentor/mentee program. To continue to elevate my craftsmanship, I regularly participate in sessions with top voice actor coaches.

I am a huge Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan, but I enjoy broadening my horizons, so I welcome projects in all genres—fiction and non-fiction. I am a tech-times Griot as well as an authoritative and motivational orator. Also, having spent a portion of my formative years living in North Africa, I am audiobook fluent in Arab and Islamic culture. When not in my home recording booth, I am an avid hiker, Island Gurl, yogi, cyclist, and world traveler.
